Bilge Nur Saltık

After graduating from Yeditepe University Department of Industrial Design, Bilge Nur Saltık completed her master's degree at the Royal College of Art Design Products Department in London between 2011-2013. In 2013, she founded Studio Bilge Nur Saltık and was nominated for the Conran Award and won the New Design Britain award in 2014. Her work has been exhibited in Milan and London in Europe, as well as in Asia and America, and her optical glass collections are part of the main collection of the Shanghai Glass Museum. Bilge Nur Saltik is also the co-founder of Form&Seek Collective, an international platform. Founded in 2013, Nur curated and organized the Form&Seek Collective and organized 10 exhibitions with 90 different designers from 25 countries. The collective, which constitutes the essence of their collections, believes that design is not bound by the borders and limits of certain countries. Inspired by different cultures and human behavior, the designer is interested in the stories behind the objects. She designs contemporary objects and installations using classical craft methods and experimental production techniques.
